Fins and Scales offers an exclusive, authentic 13-course Kosher Omakase experience in a speakeasy-style setting. Located inside Chabad on 10 East 8th Street in Manhattan, Fins and Scales brings together the finest kosher sushi and the artistry of seasoned sushi chefs, creating a unique and intimate dining experience.

With only 8 seats at the sushi bar, our 75-minute, timed Omakase experience immerses guests in a carefully curated journey of small plates, nigiri, and hand rolls—each prepared individually by your chef. Every bite showcases the highest quality fish available, served in a setting that is as much about the community as it is about the cuisine.

At Fins and Scales, we are more than just a restaurant. We are committed to enriching the Jewish experience in the heart of Greenwich Village. Proceeds from each Omakase experience go to support Chabad Loft and Kavanah Space, organizations dedicated to fostering a vibrant and dynamic Jewish community in downtown Manhattan. Certified kosher by Chabad, Fins and Scales serves only fish and features a menu that excludes meat and dairy, ensuring a high standard of kosher supervision for every dish.

Fins and Scales is open on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, offering an intimate and exclusive space where community, tradition, and extraordinary sushi come together in perfect harmony.
